Walk north along the beach to Bamburgh; go rock-pooling; take a boat-trip to the Farne Islands; build sand-castles; play golf; paddle; swim. Walk south to Beadnell - or further. Spot sea-birds and seals, eat locally caught fish (with or without chips!). Explore castles, towers, churches, museums, galleries. You may need to make a return visit to fit it all in!
